Hello David, The amplifier dropped through the letter box at 9:00am and was connected up and running 10 minutes later. As they say in the famous advert - "It does exactly what it says on the tin (package)". It is bringing things in that were below the level of the squelch and making them readable, that is what I hoped for and that is what I've got. It is connected up with an SSE airband antenna (£60) on the roof and an AOR 8600 scanner so I'm confident that I have a very good system for receiving - this little item is just to make it even better.
