For those who remember Sony's ICF-2001D, think of this as a mini version of that classic receiver. In the G6, ETÓN have produced the first portable world band receiver that also has VHF AirBand for many a long year. 

This is a very compact receiver, making it an ideal travel companion providing the user with full coverage of broadcast bands, as well as Shortwave communication bands, ie Air, Marine, Amateur, plus the bonus of VHF AirBand. However it should be noted that the receive sensitivity and features on AirBand  are not comparable to those of a scanning receiver. 

That said, it is never the less excellent value for money as a "starter" in this area of radio receivers..
