The PSR-200E is very
user-friendly, making it an ideal choice of scanner, where portability is
not so important. A DC input is provided, so in conjunction with a CPA-1000
(see Accessories section) you can power up from a 12v car socket. The set
comes with a screw-in telescopic aerial, which is supplemented by a BNC
socket on the rear panel, to allow connection to external aerials. Audio
quality and output is particularly good, as being a desk-top design, it
isn't constrained by battery power.
