This
ultra compact design set from the Uniden
Bearcat stable, is the best budget priced scanner (in my opinion) Uniden
have produced to date. They have at last ditched their own re-chargeable battery pack as the power source and switched to using two AA cells, either re-chargeables or dry cells. Although there’s only 100 channels of memory (UBC72XLT), realistically, this will provide enough storage capacity for most peoples needs and the frequency ranges available cover the popular bands. Opt for the UBC92XLT if you need more channels.Whilst compact, this is a “user friendly” set, as unlike some dearer models, it uses a key pad and does not rely on menu options being selected. Frequency Ranges Scan Rate: 50 Channels / second Main Features: 8.33kHz Airband Compliant Size 70 x 33 x 115mm
